Christmas
Christmas this year was not as happy as it could have been. Monday before Christmas Kaitlyn visited the doctor and left with two ear infections and a sinus infection. She went though the holiday week living on Tylenol which only lasts 4 hours which can made for an interesting night. We later learned from more experienced parents, parents of twins, that they sell infant 8hr ibuprofen. The Saturday after Christmas she still wasn’t better so back to the doctor we went. Turns out she is allergic to the antibiotic medicine. A few days have passed and she is back to her happy self. Christmas pictures have been added but I will warn you there are very few smiles, but lots of cute pictures.

Santa and two elves came to visit all the kids at the Halsteads tonight and surprised them all with a pre Christmas present. As you can tell by the picture below Santa was not well received by Kaitlyn or her twin cousins. She was excited to get another penguin which will be nick named Novell’s Mom. She has a smaller penguin which says Novell across its belly. So why did Santa come to the Halsteads you might be wondering. The city of Rocklin allows residents to schedule Santa some elves to come surprise the kids and boy were they surprised.
